NC TEA BillBoards Across NC

The goal of the the NC TEA Billboard Project is to send an unmistakeable message to residents of and visitors to North Carolina - RECLAIM AMERICA - VOTE - ENOUGH!  Our plan is to post billboards in key strategic locations in North Carolina over the period from July through the November elections, 2012.  North Carolina is a Battleground swing state this year, when the Democrat Convention will be held in Charlotte in September.  During the period when the billboards will be up many hundreds of thousands of people will view them.  A mobile billboard will be in Charlotte, and all of the fifteen stationary highway billboards will be located in all geographic points of the state.  The locations have been carefully selected to assure maximum viewability and clarity.

LOCAL TEA PARTY KICKS OFF STATEWIDE NC TEA BILLBOARD PROJECT
(Editor's Note: this is the story of one group of Tea Party and Grassroots organizations, creatively 'doing their own thing' as part of our statewide project to 'pepper the state' with our super design for 2012.  Congratulations, Ginny et al.  Dee)

Waving flags to honking motorists, a representative group of members from the Jackson County, North Carolina, Patriots met on Saturday, May 19th to celebrate the kick-off for the statewide NC Tea Billboard Project.  The billboard located in Cullowhee (and our smaller board located in Sylva) are only the beginning.  From Black Mountain to the beaches of North Carolina, look for the American Eagle screaming "Enough!" as these billboards go up across our state.  The project was birthed by the hard work and cooperation of multiple tea parties, and thanks go out to the many grass roots supporters within our state that got this project off the ground.

The nation's largest tea party organization, the Tea Party Patriots, generously donated to this project to bring it into fruition.  Contributions from our local group, with special thanks to John Kummer, Hubert Merchant, and Jim Nichols for the financial support, made this specific board possible.  I would also like to thank Carl Iobst,Trish Chambers, Holly Falls, Jenni Gardner, Steve Fields and Larry Gardner for answering the call to muster and becoming the "rapid deployment" team for the photo.  Our appreciation also extends to Congressional candidate Vance Patterson who donated the T-shirts to our group. -- Ginny

How can I make a real difference?

Picture
You can and will make a difference with a contribution to this effort.  And it doesn't take a lot to make this work!  Think of it this way:  There are over 100 patriot groups here in North Carolina.  Some are Tea Party groups.  Some are 9-12 Organizations.  Others are CAUTION, FIRE, Conservatives Unite, Taxpayers Associations, Sons of Liberty, Minutemen, Freedom Forum, Patriots organizations, Stand Up, and on and on!  Let's just say for the moment that there are only an average of 60 members in each group (we know the number is much higher, but we're making a simple point).  That would be a total of 6000 members.  If each member gave a mere $20 to the effort, that would raise $120,000 for billboards.  At $3000 apiece, that means 40 billboards!  In fact the number would be higher, because if we leased that many billboards, we would be given a really good discount price.  The cost per billboard would reduce significantly.  We might even be able to place 50-60 billboards for that kind of commitment!

So, it doesn't take a lot of money from any one person to accomplish a great deal!  Any small individual contribution will make a big difference!  Through the magic of big numbers, it adds up quickly!

So, even if you are not a member of a NC patriot organization....  Well, come join one!  We really need good people like you!  But if joining an activist group is simply not for you, you can still give a small donation and make a big difference!  C'mon!  Let's help get conservatives really energized for the 2012 elections!  Our country is at stake!  Our children's and grandchildren's futures are at stake!  We're counting on each other and you!
